This movie is hilarious and has a mysterious story line. This animation movie is about the evil Plankton trying to steal the secret formula from the Krusty Crabs, so he can make his famous burgers "Crabby Patty". The movie mixes real people clips of David Hasselhoff with the animated Spongebob and Patrick. I like it when they show clips of Spongebob and Patrick as a real sponge and starfish. It is so cool to see how they transform the real thing into cartoon characters. There is also suspense in this movie, it makes you want to go in and save the Bikini Bottom's creatures. The storyline builds emotions and passion. Spongebob and Patrick develop their passion to help others. This leads them into many danger situations. Spongebob and Patrick have to come up with ways to get around monsters and entrapment. They use their creativity and turn the problem around. In every situation, they seem to learn a new lesson. The writers are very creative in putting in the real life situation into this movie. Kids relate more with animation and learn from it. The only improvement is the language, it can be harsh at time. This movie shows that kids can do great things if they believe in themselves. I rank this movie 5 out of 5 stars because it's really funny, has great music and the animation is clear with an easy to follow storyline. I recommend this for ages 5-14.
