North is the story of a young boy named North, played by Elijah Wood, who is the best at everything he does, but he is convinced that his parents don't appreciate him enough. With the help of his new lawyer, played by Jon Lovitz, he sets out into the world to find new parents. This wacky comedy is perfect for the whole family. I was extremely impressed with the crisp cinematography and the wonderfully clear visuals. This film was made in 1994 and is of outstanding quality. My favorite scenes are when North goes around auditioning all the parents that want him, because the families always seem perfect, but there is a hidden twist behind them all. My favorite character is North, played by Elijah Wood, because he is so funny and outgoing, plus I love him in Lord of the Rings and even as a child, he is a fantastic actor. I give this film 5 out of 5 stars because my seven-year-old brother loves it, my mom loves it and I'm fourteen and love it too! I suggest this film for ages 7 and up because of very mild language and just a few intense situations towards the end of the film. Raven Devanney, age 14, KIDS FIRST! Film Critic.
