WARNER BRO. HOME ENTERTAINMENT
The series that snatched the attention of fans all around the world has now come to a close, but the magic will forever live on. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2 is the finale installment in the Harry Potter films, bring the fantastic legacy to its end with a bang. This movie is absolutely breathtaking. The top-notch cinematography and special effects are completely up to par with the last 7 films. I loved all of the battles and the emotion behind the closing of the story. This movie is too great to have a favorite scene, but my favorite character is Ron Weasley played by Rupert Grint. I have loved Ron since the first film because he is so funny and an amazing friend, plus Rupert is a fantastic actor. One thing that I found a bit much is the scene when Snape died. When he was attacked by Voldamort's snake I was quite disturbed by the gore and the repeated striking before he actually died. I still get creeped out just thinking about it. That scene would be far to graphic for younger children. I really liked that this film tied up all the loose ends and answered any un-resolved questions. The emotions in this film were so wonderful, there were tremendous ups and downs of lose and joy between battles and conflict. Though it is unfortunately sad that the series has wrapped up, Harry Potter will always live on. I suggest this film for ages 10 and up because of violence and some intense situations. I give this film 5 out of 5 stars because of its excellent quality and phenomenal outcome. Review by Raven Devanney, KIDS FIRST! Film Critic
