Joe Patane does it again, offering a once-in-a-lifetime experience to several New Jersey girls who have been caught in the system and feel out of control. It's interesting listening to hear the girls talk about how they are surprised to find they could go so long, and get along with so many others, without fighting. We get to know the girls and see their individual personalities shine as they begin to relax (as they probably have never done before) in this safe and supportive environment. At time, there are too many talking heads, but the overall message and the scenes of the girls "hanging out" together are precious. At the end we see the girls describing their experience and it brings a smile to your face. We see the girls talk about how they are now in college and are trying to encourage others who might be experiencing similar life situations to what they once did.
Ten complex emotionally and behaviorally challenged young women from New Jersey State's "system-of-care" go on a privately funded "Dream Camp" trip of a lifetime to Big Horn, Wyoming.
