Overall, quite a delightful, fantastical story about a young boy who has to come to terms with the fact that he is shorter than all his classmates, and eventually, of the advantages that this actually affords him. Really cute and clever; makes use of multiple images together with live action to tell Dedh's story. It is a bit confusing at first as it takes time to get accustomed to listen to the young boy's East Indian English accent. At the end, we're still not sure what Dedh Footiya means - literally meaning "One and a half feet tall" in Hindi, but it also seems to be the boy's name.
Dedh Footiya is always the odd one out in class, teased and made fun of by others. He decides to convert his short-comings into is strength and soon fantastic things start to happen! Made in Mumbai, India.
