This is a cute, funny and colorful movie that takes place in the cute little town called Berry Bitty City. This movie teaches you that all rules are important no matter how small or silly they may seem. I loved all the characters; I thought they all had a great sense of fashion and berry delicious names. But, I do have my favorites: Strawberry Shortcake because she is always honest with her friends and able to give constructive criticism. Raspberry Tart because she loves fashion and Blueberry Muffin because she loves to read and owns her own bookstore. I rate this movie 5 out of 5 stars because I think it is a good clean family movie, for people of all ages. I do think little girls might enjoy it better than boys because of all the fashion. In this Strawberry Shortcake adventure, Strawberry and her friends discover that rules are important and need to be followed. After one of the girls forgets to tie up the boat one day, it floats out into the middle of the water and creates a problem for the flower babies who get stuck in the mud trying to get the boat back. Children are encouraged to stop and think before saying or doing something that might hurt another. The moral of the story is about honesty and about helping friends who make bad choices. The friends are supportive. Children will like the bright and cheery scenery, and upbeat music.
Fabulous new fashions, sparkling musical 'Glamicures' and delightful new 'Dos' have Strawberry and her friends 'Puttin' on the Glitz!' But all that dazzles quickly unravels with a misunderstanding until the girls find creative and kind ways to be honest with their feelings and with their friends. It's heart-to-heart makeover magic as the girls learn that nothing looks as beautiful as friendship feels!
