A story of bravery, compassion and a very meaningful message. Shows real friendship and love among both animals and humans. I wasn't sure about the talking animals at first, but quickly got past that since they didn't talk to the humans. The animals, such as Felis (the panther) and Mizpah (a Florida Sandhill Crane,) are unique and will appeal to boys, girls and adults. The theme is quite original and the characters are unique, and although you feel that Paseo would reach freedom, there are twists and turns that literally leave you on the edge of your seat at times and cheering in the end.
A wild panther attempts to rescue a domesticated panther and bring her back to nature. Meanwhile, the wildlife awareness and love between a veterinarian and animal trainer grows as they begin to question the ethics behind their jobs.
