This animated music video tells the Biblical story of Jonah. Well done. Fun, pop-rock music tells the story. Though clearly Biblical in nature, the story talks about values that are common in any religion or society - keeping an open heart and letting go of anger. The colors of the animation are very muted and subtle. Probably wouldn't appeal to all audiences but for those with a Jewish audience, would find it as a rare newel.
Yom Kippur is the annual Day of Atonement for Jews. It offers an amazing opportunity to change, grow and connect. Just ask Jonah, the hero of the Yom Kippur afternoon reading from the Bible (called the haftarah). Check in with Jonah and the whale (okay, fish) and learn how Yom Kippur connects us to God, to our communities, and to our true selves.
