GREAT AMERICAN PIGEON RACE, THE

Very fun. Each pigeon has its own personality and is outfitted accordingly: cowboy, ninja, weightlifter, geek girl. Kids can easily relate to each of these and the simplicity of the story. The animated pigeons embark on a race for the golden roost. But, before they get there, they choose to save the man who was climbing to the "roost" and now falling to the ground. Only with their combined efforts can they save him. It's miraculous! And the surprise of it all is what lies beneath the "roost." This non-narrative short is well told through the imagery and even the youngest kids can easily understand what's going on. They will especially like the ending.

Six persecuted pigeons compete in a cutthroat race to be the first to claim the most prized pigeon real estate in the land. But when their antics endanger a human working on the roost they have to choose between winning or saving a dreaded human.
