An animated short of a story that originated as a radio play that tackles the issue of how a comma is used. It takes on the question of "how to tell a story," the idea of self-worth, individualism, fitting in, disappointment, perseverance, qualify of life, introspection and asking for help. These are all issues that we, as humans deal with but since the subject of the film is a comma, it takes on a humorous tone. Well written, well narrated, it holds your interest from beginning to end. At 24 minutes, it's perhaps a big long but makes some great talking points and is so well made, you're sure to enjoy it.
Based on the the story 'The Comma That Didn't Belong Anywhere,' by the poet Martha Baird. This is a charming, humorous, sophisticated and wonderful adventure of a lonely comma looking for the right sentence.
