This is a fun piece about how, as times change, style choices become more extreme and the younger generation steps up their game so that their fashion choices stand out. In this film, the parents dress like the young people and the young people try to get them to stop which is pretty amusing. Good set and costume design. Good acting, very believable. While it doesn't have any deep meaning, it's an interesting idea that shows how every planetary shift bridges the gaps between older people and younger people. Kids would get a kick out of seeing the parent figures dress like teenagers. This film bears some resemblances to Twilight, from the school to the background music. Some may object to the scene at the beginning with the Mom bending over and her thong sticks out at the top of her jeans and we see the words "tramp stamp" tattooed on her back. Also, the girl asks her Dad why his "ass" is sticking out of his pants. Other than that, pretty tame.
When the 1000-year comet crosses the sky, a brave new world is created, where every adult on the planet adopts every current trend in teen fashion, style and body image.
