Sensitively addresses the issue of parent-child relationships and mutual respect. Appeals to both children and adults. Some goofy, slap-stick humor, as well as tender emotional content. The initial depiction of the dads as incompetent "bumblers" is almost stereotypical, but it turns into and excellent background for their sincere efforts to engage with their kids and prove their love. A strong undercurrent of respect for problem-solving, hard work, social justice and family values throughout. A great story, it grabbed my attention from the beginning. Physical humor and exaggerated comedic dialogue is perfect for this age group.
When three bumbling single dads attempt to connect with their kids by becoming real-life superheroes, real-life criminals decided to get in the way.
