A somber film about the bond between a boy and his grandfather. They share a story together - Ali Baby and the 40 Thieves - and the boy repeats the mantra: "Open Sesame" or, in Spanish "Obre te, Sesamus." They share this secret between them. Sadly, the grandfather dies and the boy must come to terms with that. He sneaks into the mortuary and offers one last "Obre te, Sesamus" and whispers good-bye to his father. The somber tone of this film may not catch the attention of younger viewers, but older or more pensive viewers will find something very touching.
Ismael's life changes completely when, one night, his grandfather reads him the tale of "Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves," revealing to him that the magic spell works. Spanish with English sub-titles.
