This black and white student production holds a lot of intrigue and relevance for today's cell-phone obsessed culture. The little girl is quite charming and believable. The mother as well, though her performance is rather deadpan. This would be a good discussion starter for parents who pay more attention to their cell phones than their children.
A young girl and her mother are both consumed by their electronic devices when the little girl discovers a small city garden. Inside the garden the little girl experiences unique sights, sounds and smells for the first time. But, when her mother discovers her in the garden, she isn't happy and forces her daughter to re-enter the hectic, frantic life of the city.
