Kids enjoyed it although some felt it was too short. "Our friends would like it because it's funny." They could relate to many of the characters in the movie such as "Ramona because she was funny," "Leo's Dad was really sweet." "I like Little Spirit because he flies Leo around the city. He doesn't have any wings, but he can fly with his imagination - I think." They enjoyed the Christmas songs. "We like Duncan Sheik and there were several of his songs in the movie." Favorite parts: "When Ramona has the hot dogs and is running away from the pigeons." "I liked the comic book effect of the pigeons and Ramona fighting in a 'bal.'" "When Leo is in the part and we see the kids through his eyes."
Dylan and Paige are two sisters who arrive in New York to visit their Grandma, and they happen to hop into the one magical Taxi Cab in the city. Danny DeVito lends his voice to the mysterious Cab driver in this animated Christmas adventure. As the Cab driver begins to tell Dylan and Paige of a boy who changed everyone's Christmas in New York, the two sisters put aside their own differences to learn more about a boy looking for home. When Leo's family moves to New York, Leo loses Ramona his canine best friend in Central Park! All hope is not lost when the mystical Little Spirit appears to help him find Ramona and the meaning of home in the Big Apple. Follow the two as they use portals in Christmas Trees to travel everywhere across the city to find Ramona, and witness Ramona as she takes on Macy's toy department and an angry band of pigeons on her own. As Leo and Little Spirit get closer to finding Ramona, the sisters Dylan and Paige let down their guards to show they both care whether or not the boy will be reunited with his pup. But the Little Spirit's job is not done; he may need to help the sisters too. With a mixture of comedy, action and family dynamics there is something to please everyone in this magical Christmas story. Great background music and excellent voice talent.
