Enjoyed it. All the kids watched with interest. The youngest one gasped and pointed to the animals saying, "doggie, horsie, etc. One 5-year-old said, "I liked it because the puppies make new friends." Another said, "It was sad when the Daddy Doggie left his baby but I liked it. " A few kids watched it a second time and still said they would watch it again.
What an array of adorable dogs! Each cuter than the next... but they portray a range of characters. It will be obvious to the adults watching this that the "storyline" is made up after the dogs have been taped. But, it doesn't matter. It is absolutely charming. There are many things that appeal to the children - the animals, the outdoor scenes, the dream sequence, where children can think about what they , in turn, might imagine. The dogs are kind and helpful to one another.
