Good storyline, well acted, good message. The young boy holds onto a fantasy idea about his superhero powers that don't hold up when push comes to shove. On top of that, the Mom he idolizes isn't quite what he remembers or wants her to be. Sweet bonding between the Dad and the boy. Good use of animation with the live action.
Ten-year-old Adam imagines he's a superhero. He pretends to be in danger to prove his father is neglectful to his mother whom he adores. His plan goes awry when real danger comes and Adam learns that real life isn't how he imagined; he finally sees his mom and dad for who they really are.
