Definitely held kids', ages 2-4, attention. "I think it's a happy show." "I like it because I like Stuart." "They share and smile and don't hit each other. I like that." "My friends would love it." ""I liked the white cat." A two-year-old would meow and point whenever the kitty came onscreen and asked to hold it and to see it more often. She also gave big belly laughs at the kitty's antics. One 4-year-old really loved seeing the dog chasing antics and laughed hard at it. She also laughed at the cat in the funny mirrors during the fair episode. Everyone thought the cat was hilarious. A four-year-old got nervous at the talk about the ghost in the Inn episode and said, "Mommy, this is scary" but also didn't want to turn it off. She also pointed out that "it's just the kitty" when the other characters were scared that the noises were the ghost. Very entertaining and appropriate for the preschool set.
Very entertaining. Very straightforward storytelling with likeable characters who have lots of great adventures. Stories are about things kids can relate to such as visiting the state fair, going on a family vacation, taking a trip to a farm. There is a haunted inn that may be scary for littlest ones. But then again, some kids like movies that are itty bitty scary. Clearly the bad guys are bad and the other characters apologize when they realize they have been thoughtless or unkind. It makes you want to seek out the books to read if you haven't read them before.
He's the world's smallest hero with the biggest heart! Stuart Little is back for three family adventures filled with laughs and life lessons for everyone. Along with older brother George, our big Little hero explores the county fair, experiences spooktacular thrills at a country inn, and braves a wild weekend on the farm. From the popular animated series based on the hit movies and beloved children's book, the wonders of these charming stories are guaranteed to be both entertaining and enlightening. Three episodes:
