This title could broaden a child's global perspective and promote balanced appreciation of others. This short screenplay creatively puts someone in Obama's shoes for Halloween, helping him see people's reactions to Obama in a different light. It may bother some viewers with its one-sided portrayal of politics. The ending might also strike a nerve with some viewers. Its strength lies in the importance of seeing other people's side of things. Its weakness is that it is very heavy on promoting the Democratic side and makes Republicans seem like heartless, brainless fools. It does draw you in. You quickly get a sense of what is happening in the story - right down to the guests choosing the right or left side of the porch to socialize on. The middle shows how people react leading to an understanding of the change in Barry at the end.
An October surprise for a right wing Republican who wears a Barack Obama mask on Halloween as a political statement.
