This short four minute program works particularly well in a classroom or library setting. The kids get a brief glimpse of images and then have the opportunity to try to draw afterwards.
Cute video, reminiscent of Harold and the Purple Crayon. It flows nicely from scene to scene. Most kids enjoy art to some degree. This attempts to make drawing fun and demonstrates different styles. Good color and narration. Loved the narration by Bobby McFerrin and the read along subtitles.
Art, a young boy, joyfully draws Scribbles that Squiggle, Splotches with blotches, Zigs and Zags, Doodles and Dogs, and so much more! Children are introduced to the imaginative world of art and how a picture really can be worth a thousand words. Narrated by Bobby McFerrin. Directed by Konstantin Bronzit. A co-production of Weston Woods Studios, Studio Mir and Rembrandt Films. Includes a bonus interview with author Patrick McDonnell.
