Old woman hits kids with a broomstick, whacks on head and smacks other kids. Good pace. Characters are credible and they do a good job breaking stereotypes like the girl who is good at fixing carts. Some people might not appreciate the slapstick humor but overall, it's a fun and interesting mystery. It's fun and light and entertaining for adults and kids.
Max Flemming, kid detective, strikes fear in the hearts of criminals - young and old. When the town bully goes missing, Max is on the case, but what he uncovers goes much deeper than a missing kid.
