Enjoyed it. The students liked the scenario about trusting drivers when you cross the street. They thought that was a good example because we all trust those people, but usually don't them at all. The group discussion didn't hold their interest. They said that it seemed as if the same people got to talk all of the time and others didn't participate.
Great video that shares kids' perspectives on trusting each other. Offers wonderful interviews with children about why you can and can't trust others. Excellent examples to illustrate the points. The style of the interviews is excellent for kids because they get the information in many ways. Kids need to know why they are and aren't trusted. The kids in the video do a good job of making it pertinent to many age groups.
Blogger Judy presents trust through a video vignette, teen discussions and a skit about lying to fit in. This combination of elements is bound to provoke moving discussions about honesty and trustworthiness.
