Kids enjoyed it. "It made me start thinking about what we want to be when we grow up." "My friends would think it is interesting and educational." Good introduction to help children start thinking about what they want to do when they grow up and how to get started. It moves a bit slowly and has a lot of talking heads. It highlights a particular career, veterinarians - and answers many questions about working with animals. Most kids love animals which adds to its appeal. It covers a broad area and suggests that they might start by volunteering - a good idea. The surgery for spaying was interesting but may not be appropriate for younger kids.

You'll learn about careers in animal conservation as you get a close up view of the California Condor which is an endangered species. This program takes you to a government protected preserve where Fish and Wildlife Service Staff and Interns work to study and protect this incredible bird. Their diligent efforts have helped nurse the California Condor population from 22 to 275.
