MEERKAT MANOR: THE STORY BEGINS

This TV series follows colonies of meerkats and documents their lifestyle and female dominated society. It is somewhat like a reality show, with the meerkats the on-air talent. Interestingly enough, the leader of a pack of meerkats is female. This series is filled with lots of facts presented in an entertaining fashion. One thing to be aware of, the objective of the meerkats' lives is mating which may be a touchy subject for screening with kids. It may get a bit monotonous at times, unless you are really into wild life. Very well produced, excellent visual and audio production.

As prequel to the Meerkat Manor television series, this feature film traces the rise of Flower from a young meerkat pup to leader of the pack. Narrated by Whoopi Goldberg, Meerkat Manor: The Story Begins will warm your heart and leave you awed by the magic of Flower's journey.
