A surprise. At first it appears to be a silly, anachronistic teen girl version of history. In reality, the producers and writers do an excellent job of keeping a true historical perspective without bogging the story down in minutia. The characters seem fairy true and it's impressive how the filmmakers were able to weave simple and relevant messages into the historical narrative. Also impressive is how much the production crew was able to get out of what is most likely a low budget for this film. Appropriate for young adults without pandering by trying to speak their language.

Includes the stories of three real princesses - Cleopatra, Isabel and Elizabeth I. Let these teen princesses surround you with the adventures, struggles and responsibilities of being part of a royal family while still being true to themselves.
