A re-release of the 80s title from DIC, this DVD has all a collection of some of the most charming of the Care Bears episodes with messages that are as relevant today as when they were first released such as a Dad who is too busy to come see his daughter perform and a lack of places for skaters to skate, . Great music and familiar 2D images of the popular characters. There are no scary scenes here; there are many leaps of the imagination with the Care Bears who appear to help resolve children's problems. Wouldn't we all appreciate a Care Bear in our life?
There's plenty of adventure when those loveable Care Bears are around In "The Show Must Go On," Patti's Dad can't leave work to come see her star in her school pageant - or can he? Then, in "Concrete Rain," Professor Coldheart is dumping concrete from his airplane so little Suzy can roller skate everywhere!. In "The Girl Who Cried Wolf," young Jill's pals get trapped in a cellar because she sent them on a phony treasure hunt. Finally, in "Dry Spell," pals Joey and Elaine discover an underground river during a drought - but they're stuck in a cave. Whatever the problem, the Bears are there to lend a paw - and lots of love, too.
