Loved it. Especially when they get to guess what fruits or vegetables the kids are trying blindfolded. They related to the images of food onscreen - apples, oranges, peaches with ice cream! Yum, that was a favorite. They could laugh and giggle and still learn about food and taste. The language is perfect, not over their heads. They enjoyed answering the questions asked. Another part they talked about was when the show discussed eating dirt and the puppet thought it was chocolate cake. That brought a good laugh. They also enjoyed the scene with the milk mustaches on the puppets - it is something they can relate to. Fun and enjoyable over all.
Educational and fun with excellent information promoting healthy eating and living. Love how people of all ages are involved gives it a plus in terms of intergenerational role models. The graphics and production technical aspects are clear and concise. Excellent pace, great colors. It is well thought out, makes good use of puppets. One juror said, "This is the best children's educational DVD I have seen in a long time."
Testing tongues is lip-smacking fun! Yummy and yucky, sweet and sour, Bruce Brain and Mojo mouth taste their way through a delicious adventure. Trying new foods becomes fun and helps children discover new things about the world. Country tunes get kids moving.
