Kids were glued to the screen and talked about the numbers and pictures all through the film. They were excited about counting and kept talking about how they love numbers. "I loved the numbers and the animals. I like to count." "I loved the dogs and the songs." They sang along and afterwards went on a counting kick - trying to count as high as they could go. They loved to talk through it - about the dogs, robots, horses and karate. They wanted to be robots and do karate. They enjoyed seeing the hot air balloons and llamas.
Enjoyable mix of live action images and animation. The numbers are presented chronologically and the different music styles make each number unique. Kids share and take turns. Children of different races are shown but often segregated according to activity.
Children visit a karate class and rowing club, watch a marching band, practice cheerleading and much more. Songs introduce children to the world of numbers, each one focusing on a number from one to ten,
