Loved it, especially the boys who were engrossed with the sound effects and action. They enjoyed the educational lessons." This movie is exciting and educational. It shows things in a cool way, but still teaches you." Some kids felt that it was too fast at times and too slow at others. They appreciated the clever way that terminology was used in people's names. "I like the names like Sarah Bellum." The lessons seem to be clearly understood. "It teaches you how to stay away from unhealthy fat." "The bad people had farting and burping contests." Overall, good audience reaction: "I'd watch it again." "Cool animation." "Cool music."
Great presentation for teaching health and nutrition. Animation has comic book look with an interactive game that invites viewers to actively participate. Using a diverse group of super heroes to tell the story appeals to kids. Some terms, such as "free radicals" and "low density lipids" are fairly advanced, but, they're cleverly embodied in the behavior of the villains. The "healthy" guys vs. the "bad" guys are clearly defined by their behavior - the former working well together while the latter is portrayed using negative behavior and language such as stupid, idiot and loser.
There is a war going on inside the body; the 'good guys,' Soolyn (insulin) and Gluke (glucagon), are working to fight the Evil Coalition of Harm and Disease, Beetez II (diabetes 2) and ColEsterol (cholesterol), who are responsible for the obesity crisis.
