Kids just loved this DVD. They danced and laughed along. "It was happy. It has lots of songs." "It's fun!" "My friends would like it because the songs are fun." "I want to play the guitar too." "I like when the cat fell down." Liked when he didn't see the elephants." "I liked the train." This is the type of program that's made for feeling good, not for big thinking. And feel good, they did.
Lovely mix of humor, topics, blend of cultures, ages and genders. Eric Ode is a very creative entertainer who knows his audience. This is very suitable for preschoolers. Shows familiar places from a new perspective, i.e.. Zoo, library, trash can, shoes. Style is gentle and relaxing. Perfect preschool humor, i.e.. Pink worms, guitar turns into a broom, drumming on a ladder. Topics are relevant to preschoolers. Good diversity shown, i.e.. elderly, facial hair, glasses and weight. Preschoolers need to be challenged with questions that have no right or wrong answer. The constant changing of new ideas is engaging.
The library, zoo, and amusement park are all musical destinations as singer, songwriter and poet, Eric Ode, sets out to repair his A-flat Shnooglehorn.
