Kids with religious training enjoyed it most. "I liked the story." "The tax collector realized stealing and having a lot of money aren't the most important things in life." "The characters are appropriately mean in order to tell the story about mean people becoming nice." "The colors are bold and the figures simple. It works in telling this story." "I liked when Zacchaeus climbs the tree to see Jesus and then learns to trust God and then becomes nice." It did not hold the attention of all the kids.
Bright colors, two dimensional animation. Good biblical message about how wealth gained through evil does not bring happiness. Offers insight into Zacchaeus' life prior to when he met Jesus and how, in the end, he gives everything he has stolen back to people. While the movies moves slowly at times, it delivers a lesson with positive values in an entertaining way.
Saddened because he won't forsake worldly wealth, Zacchaeus seeks to follow Jesus, and gives half his wealth to the poor, restoring anything wrongly taken and receiving salvation.
