Different parts of interest for different children. One-year-olds point and clap from time to time. A 2-year-old was interested whenever she saw an exaggerated expression or movement with the ribbons. Older kids tried to answer the puppets. The kids liked talking about eye color and playing peek a boo. They all seemed to enjoy when the children onscreen danced. They often moved with the music but there are no songs to sing or games to play. One child said, "brain candy means they are teaching me not to eat candy." Another said, "I think they are teaching us that popcorn is healthy food."
Well produced with cute puppets, on-camera kid, and classical music. Clear images and audio. Uses light and sound in an imaginative way. High concept but a bit abstract. Very little narrative with no repetition. Floating eyeball and ear puppets are peculiar. This title is really just what it says, "eyecandy."
