Most loved it, especially the boys. Some even requested a copy to bring to their 8th grade history teacher who responded to their raves. "I wish my own teacher was as cool as this one. I learned a lot and I hate history." Some 12-year-old girls did not like it one bit and said, "It wasn't very interesting." Boys, ages 7, 10, and 13, loved it. They had learned about the issues presented in their history classes and liked how they were presented. They told their friends how cool it is and wanted to donate it to their church library so the homeschoolers could use it.
Super terrific. Funny and educational at the same time. Reviews American history that many of us have forgotten. Uses wide variety of formats, from puppets to animation to live action re-enactments to mock juries. Flows well and holds interest. There is really nothing else out there like these that we're aware of.
An interactive and entertaining approach to learning about Feudalism, the Magna Carta, the Great Awakening, the aftermath of the American Revolution, the Articles of Confederation, and the Constitutional convention in 1787. Includes original songs, puppetry, theatrical vignettes, and student interviews.
