Across the board, kids enjoyed the music and the characters. "I like that microphone." "I liked those drums." After some discussion, they were able to get the idea that the monkeys were saving money for their friend's birthday. Most didn't "get" it til they were coached. They all got caught up in the drumming and the air guitar and soon were trying to sing along - which is why they found it to be fun. .

Characters are quite cute and the music catchy. Appealing, upbeat style, well paced and good use of repetition. Words such as "frugal," "receipt," and "allowance" are not common vocabulary for preschoolers. Well produced, clear, bright with good audio. Gives caregivers a jumping off point to talk to kids about money.

Helps kids learn about the value of money. Joe the Monkey, Piggs the Bank and friends help children learn to share, save and spend smart.
