Loved it. Excellent production. Loved the music. "It's funny." "I liked it because it's about basketball. I wish I could play basketball like that." "Good story." They enjoyed seeing streetball. "They emphasized teamwork and motivation. And, good family values."
Enjoyable storyline. Lots of action. Great talking points for families, especially Dads and sons. Although the Dad was absent many times for Jerome, he came through for him in the end. Great special effects, especially when Jerome dons his magic sneakers and performs extraordinary feats. Allows kids to vicariously experience fame and realize it's not always great.
Die-hard hoops fan Jerome Jenkins Junior gets no respect at the local court, because he's too young, too slow, and worst of all - too short. But when he puts on a mysterious pair of sneakers, he's suddenly able to dribble, drive, and dunk like a champ! Jerome's rise to streetball fame seems unstoppable! But when it threatens to alienate his family and friends, Jerome realizes there's a high price to pay to be crowned the King of Concrete!
