Fun and well produced. Crisp and clear audio and visuals. Non-narrative. It is based on a robbery which might turn off some viewers. Ichildren this age know that thievery is not right and will enjoy the humor of the thief stealing the pillow, not the jewel. In the end, the man lands in jail so there is a repercussion to his behavior. Very cute and clever.

Arrest Assured follows the comedic efforts of a bored and restless man. Staring out over the sleeping city, a billboard for a local jewelry store inspires a harebrained scheme that turns him into a would-be burglar. Unfortunately, his poor planning and graceless movements lack the stealth and sophistication of a great heist - making for a short, but entertaining 3D animated adventure. Created, directed and executed by Mike McCormick and Rob Taylor, of San Diego based animation studio, Pendulum; Arrest Assured is a film paying homage to the toon-humor of Chuck Jones and the physical comedy of Chaplin, with a heartfelt nod to Wallace & Gromit and the genius of Peter Lord - painted with a vibrant new digital palette. More importantly, this short showcases Pendulum's love of storytelling, character development, and high-quality animation.
