The industrious mole leads a dreary boring life. But one day, he meets Miss Hedgehog. He falls immediately in love with her. But she remains timid and hostile, deploying her quills whenever he tries to approach her. In order to show his feelings to her, he does what he is best at: He digs thousands of mole hills in the shape of a giant heart on his meadow.
