Kids were really taken with the drawing section. They sat with the remote and hit pause a lot so they could keep up. They also loved the kitten and the story, El Oso was a big hit. They appreciated the positive role models. "Everyone was good to each other. Robert and Ribert were nice and listened to their hearts." And, they enjoyed the Spanish content. "I want to learn more Spanish words."
Great fun, great story, excellent visuals and music. Entertaining and interesting. Each part goes a little beyond the basic information about animals. For example, a cat is shown playing and we learn that cat hair is called fur and that cat's ears move independently from each other so they can hear better. Games, Spanish language, and drawing are all incorporated into the presentation.
Ribert and the Power Pals learn about observing animals while Robert decides to try something new, a nature walk. Dara Duck brings in her pet kitten Nutmeg, Leeny the Story Performer tells a funny story about El Oso (The Bear) and Cousin Chris draws and paints a big blue elephant.
