Enjoyable overall. Kids loved it when they share their cake and enjoyed thinking of themselves as "power pals." The popsicle story motivated kids to discuss sharing with their friends.
Lenny the Storyteller does an interesting job of telling the Sun and the North wind story. The friendship examples are thought-provoking. This is a great episode for a pre-school or kindergarten health class. They talk about feelings and helping friends when they are sad. The singers, an African American man and a Caucasian woman, sing a beautiful duet about being friends.
Ribert and the Power Pals discover some great ways to be good friends while Robert helps his friend Melissa celebrate the perfect birthday party. Joan and Jeff sing a beautiful song about being friends, Leeny the Story Performer tells a tale about two friends who disagree and Cousin Chris draws a picture of one of his best friends, his dog Ralph!
