This Macedonia series promotes inter-cultural understanding to encourage conflict prevention in a multicultural society and to impart specific conflict resolution skills that children can use in their everyday lives. In this story, Jeylan borrows her mother's necklace without permission. Jeylan's mother discovers the necklace is missing and accuses cleaning lady of stealing it. The cleaning lady, Jerjuz confronts her own daughter who she suspects has stolen the necklace. At last Jeylan learns about the situation. When she goes to tell her mother her anger dissuades Jeylan from confessing. The misadventure continues when Jeylan's mother discovers the truth but is too humiliated to admit that a Roma cleaning woman was right and she was wrong.
