DORA THE EXPLORER: DORA'S BACKPACK ADVENTURES

Dora is a perennial favorite around here and at our film festivals. Our viewers just can't get enough of her. For a certain age, around 3 and 4, Dora really fits the bill. The Spanish language inclusion is a plus and I often hear kids repeating the words immediately after viewing and for days afterwards.

Returning books to the library becomes an adventure for the keen and capable Dora when her parents give her a nifty backpack full of helpful items. Preschoolers join Dora and Backpack in their first adventure as together they solve a riddle, climb the Big Rock, and try to return Dora's eight books to the library before it closes. Dora mixes Spanish words with English very naturally.
