A favorite with kids. "This is one of our favorite cartoons. We watch them on TV all the time." "Spongebob is really silly but he learns not to do things in the end. Like not to show off. "Squidward is my favorite. He is very smart. I like his stories."

Simple, artfully drawn characters and non-formulaic stories, hurrah! Uses traditional oral storytelling, forcing kids to LISTEN. Catchy, easy to learn music. Some tacky jokes but all is resolved in the end. There is more here than meets the adult eye.
