Liked a lot though some behavior disturbed them. They liked seeing lots of kids and the clever strategies they created but noted: "We play games, but not that real. We play tricks, but not that mean." "It made me see I need to think things out more."
Impressive story. Captivating, complex, with imaginative costumes and dazzling setting. Well produced though the lip sync is off. Watching the kids wage a "war" against each other is disturbing to some even though the resolution is commendable.
Two campgrounds on opposite sides of a lake partake in an elaborate annual rivalry. With parental encouragement and support, kids play conquistadors versus Indians. The game rivalry escalates, and parents as well as kids ultimately have to come to terms.
