Well produced, great story line, full of emotion, poignant ending. Main characters exhibit strong moral character. Christianity is respected. Except for a questionable scene with boys checking out a woman's bosom, great family movie.

Based on the novel by Jerry Bledsoe and set in small-town North Carolina in 1950, during the height of the polio epidemic. Two boys set out to get an angel doll for one of their sisters and find the true meaning of Christmas.
