This is cute and adorable movie that almost everybody will love. It is perfect for little kids because they will learn a lot. It's also great for older kids because it has a modern twist on a fairy tale. I think they will really enjoy it and relate to it as well. It is really funny how they play on words when they are playing with video games and stuff. It is really funny and made me laugh.

Now, the background is awesome. It looks like it is hand drawn and it kind of made me feel as if I jumped into the fairy tale. It made me feel as if I was there, standing as a little pig myself. Standing ... It is just so cute. They have real life props that look like you could pick them up and play with them. And the cute little piggies are so so so adorable. Plus, I learned how to garden, how to use sign language and also, about how this family could have fun.

Now, we get to learn sign language at the end which is very cool. I have always been interested in learning how to do sign language for quite a while and I bet other kids have as well. With this DVD, the hearing impaired can also listen to it and watch it and know what is being said.

My favorite character is probably Funny Piggy. She is a great female character. She shows kids that it's great to work hard and they can have fun doing that as well. She reminds us to always try to do your best no matter what. This is a life action film. I think adults would enjoy it as well as kids. I recommend it for ages 3 to 11 depending on your style. I give this DVD 4.5 out of 5 twinkling stars. It is available now from DawnSign Press and wherever DVDs are sold so, check it out.

Parents, if your child loves fairy tales and you want them to see another side of life as they know it, please have them watch The New Three Little Pigs by DawnSign Press! Their Once Upon a Sign series brings fairy tales to life using American Sign Language as a major mode of communication. The actors act and sign ASL while the dialogue is voiced in the background.

This DVD is thoroughly entertaining, current and humorous. The clever dialogue and animation make it fun for parents to sit and watch with the kids. Who doesn't love the older sister pig who is the voice of reason for her sillier younger pig brothers?

Watching this DVD with your child, whether hearing impaired or not, is a fun and brilliant way to introduce sign language and provide a glimpse into different modes of communication. What a great way to broach the conversation with your child about differences and similarities between people with good hearing and those needing sign language.

I heartily rate The New Three Little Pigs 5 out of 5 stars, and recommend the viewing age 3 to 12 years of age.
