Kids loved it, particularly the girls. "It was really good." "We could watch it again for my birthday." "My friends would like this a lot." They liked the storyline. "The twins moved from England and some mean girl tried to get them into trouble. But, they got her back and got to keep their cute uniforms." They liked Annie and Izzy. "They are both really cute and blonde. They're prettier than my friends." They noted that the stereotypes were "that some people were rich and some weren't." They also noted how "the mean girl was their friend at first until she found out they didn't have money, then she was mean." "Everyone was pretty and dressed really nice. Even the house was pretty."
Very cute and perky twins in a private school; a younger version of the "Legally Blonde" movies. Good strong storyline with a good message for the middle school set that address "what not to do." For example, you should not treat people badly or you will lose out." Nicely tuned to appeal to this age level without talking down to them. Even though the characters are in high school, this is geared for the middle school audience. The acting is a bit over the top at times and manipulation too obvious for an older audience. It's very cute, fluffy and fun. If you enjoyed "Legally Blonde," then your children should enjoy Elle's nieces take on mean people.
When Elle Woods' young, blonde cousins Annie and Izzy (Milly and Becky Rosso) moved from England to California, they thought their pink clothes, small dogs and street smarts would make them instantly fit in and feel at home. However, they find they are miles away from the uniform fashions and money-focused power structure of their new prep school. When the school's reigning forces turn on the girls and try to frame them for a crime, Izzy and Annie must use their cleverness and charm to clear their names and show the school that in the classroom or the courtroom, they should never underestimate the power of blondes! Starring Brittany Curran, Bobby Campo, Rebecca Rosso, Camilla Rosso, Tanya Chisholm, Chloe Bridges.
