Very enjoyable for babies. "My 10-month-old was mesmerized, excited, and made lots of happy noises." Broken into segments for viewing worked best. The ABC Song was a huge hit.
Well produced with good animation, good colors and shapes. Upbeat music. Good voices. Good consistency with letter and numbers. The learning concept is based on an outdated theory of learning which some of our jurors found to be inappropriate and repetitous. We recommend adult intervention in using it. When viewed with an adult who repeats the lesson after the video voice, it was a hit.
Designed to help babies and toddlers learn the alphabet while they are learning to talk. It works on the belief that by exposing little ones to letters at the time they are learning to talk helps them master letter recognition along with the words they are learning.
